Safety Policy

As your Reiki therapist, I want to ensure you feel safe and relaxed during the whole process, starting from the moment you reach out to me. With this in mind, I have set in place safety policies to help soothe any worries you may have. Similarly, I place high priority on my personal safety as a mobile practitioner.

For your safety:

I will provide you with my current Government issued photo identification upon arrival to your first appointment. I hold a business license through the City of Kelowna, avliable for your viewing upon request. For you to ensure you are receiving the highest quality of service, I will make available for viewing all necessary certificates I possess.

For my safety:

I require all new clients to provide Government issued photo identification, along side a current photo of yourself holding up said ID, to verify your person. Any picture clearly showing your face will do. To complete any booking, these will need to be sent to me via email or text message, which can be found on my contact page. Finally, if paying by cash please ensure you have the correct change on hand. I do not carry cash for safety reasons. 

I recognize that both therapists and clients are vulnerable to infections and therefore ask clients to cancel and/or reschedule appointments as soon as possible when they are feeling unwell. If you have any of the following contagious illnesses your appointment must be rescheduled to protect the therapist: - Fever - Diarrhea - Vomiting - Influenza - Common Cold - Chicken Pox (Varicella) - Measles - Mumps - Meningitis - Hepatitis A - Conjunctivitis - Rubella - Head or Body Lice - Impetigo - Meningococcal Disease - Polio - Ringworm of the body, feet or scalp - Scabies - Thrush - Whooping Cough - Or any other contagious illness not listed.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment so that I can fill your spot. You are required to notify me of cancellations or rescheduling over the phone (250)718-8071. Deposits will be fully refunded if you cancel more than 24 hours prior to your appointment. Deposits will be forfeited if cancellation is less then 24 hours before your appointment. I may make an exception, in certain emergency situations. Work obligations are NOT considered emergencies. *Deposits are forfeited for no shows. *Gift Certificates may be forfeited for cancellations/rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice, depending on each individual situation. *Gift Certificates will be forfeited for no shows.

Late Arrivals

When you book with me, that time is set aside just for you. I will never double book, and I will always do my very best to be on time. In return, I ask that you keep your promise and be at our designated location at your scheduled appointment time. Please call (250)718-8071 to let me know if you are running late. If I show up at your location, and you are not there within 15 minutes of your appointment start time, and you have not notified me that you are running late, you will be considered a “no show” and will be subject to a missed appointment fee of the full price of your scheduled appointment. Gift Certificates will be forfeited for no shows. As I am on a tight schedule, a late start due to you arriving late will result in a reduced treatment time. For example, if you arrive to our meeting place 10 minutes late, your 60 minute treatment will now only be 50 minutes in duration. If you are more that 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged the full treatment fee.

Travel Policy

As a mobile therapist, I make my services available to all whom reside in the locations of Kelowna, Lake Country, and West Kelowna, British Columbia. This being said, I do charge per kilometer of travel outside of the Kelowna City Limits. Fees for this are $0.54 per km of travel, in both directions. Any parking fees incurred during your session will also be applied to the final bill.  For any questions regarding this, please feel free to contact me for more information.
